Middle School Fall 2017

middle school working together

The Middle School Fall Season offers a coed team for all 7th and 8th graders. The program is the building block to the high school level and there is an emphasis on building a strong foundation in proper technique. The goal of the program is to build technique, to promote sportsmanship, introduce proper equipment handling and water safety, and improve general fitness.

Fall season runs early September through middle of November. Practices are scheduled 4 times per week, Mondays - Wednesdays - Thursdays & Fridays.

We have an informational meeting September 5 at the Port Washington Public Library at 7PM.

All new rowers to Port Rowing, must complete a swim test BEFORE being allowed on the water. A swim test option, free of charge, is held on Friday August 25 at the East Hills JCC, 300 Forest Drive, East Hills. Click here for a copy of our swim test form.
